Institute of Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics (IAW)
The Institute of Industrial Engineering and Ergonomics (IAW) at RWTH Aachen University researches and teaches in the field of work science, particularly in the areas of work organization, vocational training and ergonomic system design. At the IAW, multidisciplinary teams work closely with partners from industry and research to develop and evaluate innovative concepts, methods and instruments for human-centered work design.
